Description
Arytenoid cyst is a very rare entity [1]. This may be asymptomatic many a times. In symptomatic individuals, they may present with dysphagia, hoarseness or even stridor [1, 2].
The aim of presenting this image is:
• To emphasize on the presentation of a rare benign neoplasm in a rare site in larynx.
• To highlight the use of endoscopy in picking of laryngeal/ pharyngeal lesions, which are missed by most of the endoscopists.
• To convey the message that an arytenoid cyst may be considered in the differential diagnosis in a patient presenting with dysphagia and/or hoarseness (Figure 1).
Management depends on symptoms, if there are no symptoms, observation is the rule, if symptomatic, needs removal [3,4].
