Abstract
Excessive use of internet has been seen in relation to the presence of psychosocial cues. The role of cues/cues based exposure has been well researched in the area of substance use. It has implications in the area of technology has not been explored. The user sought consultation ay SHUT clinic for management of pornography. The user was assessed using clinical interview, Internet addiction test and NIMHANS screening tool for psychological problems. It demonstrated the indulgence in pornography in relation to cues; problematic use of internet and psychiatric caseness. It has implication for evolving the cue exposure based treatment and coping skills.
