Biography

Dr. Angela L Stotts is a clinical psychologist and researcher specializing in behavioral and pharmacological treatments for substance use disorders, including nicotine dependence. Dr. Stotts has been a principal or co-investigator on multiple treatment-research studies funded by NIH and other federal agencies. Specifically, she has had NIDA and NCI funding to test novel motivational interviewing and acceptance/mindfulness-based interventions for pregnant smokers and opiate abusers.
