Journal of Traumatic Stress Disorders & Treatment is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal that aims to publish the most complete and reliable source of information on the discoveries and current developments in all areas pertaining to Traumatic stress.
Psychological trauma is a condition in which a traumatic event or situation overwhelms an individual's ability to cope with it, and leaves that person with death and destruction. The individual may feel emotionally and physically overwhelmed. The circumstances of the event commonly includes, betrayal of trust, abuse, entrapment, pain, confusion, and/or loss. It may happen because of one-time incidents like crime, accidents, natural disasters, deaths or because of repetitive experiences such as child abuse, combat, concentration camps, battering relationships, and enduring deprivation.
Journal of Traumatic Stress Disorders & Treatment publishes results of research on Traumatic Stress, Post Traumatic Stress Disorders, Psychological Trauma, Mental Disorders and their Treatments.
The Journal uses Editorial Manager System to maintain quality review process. Editorial Manager is an online manuscript submission, review and tracking system. Review process is performed by the editorial board members of Journal of Traumatic Stress Disorders & Treatment; the validation by at least two independent reviewers followed by the editor’s approval is required for the acceptance of any citable manuscript for publication in the Journal.
