About Proteomics

Proteomics is a study of the large scale protein mostly focusing on its structure and function on a genome scale. Several techniques evolved to study the protein structure such as MS spectrometer, electrophoresis. Proteomics helps to understand how the protein work together in the different metabolic pathways along with helps its regulatory mechanisms and helps in predict the side effects of designed drug of interest.
