Scholarly Regenerative Biology Journals
Scholarly Journals are periodicals with a limited number of issues per year. Scholarly Journals are those which are respected for the research and information they provide about the topic they cover. They are written by and for people who have experience in a discipline or field. Scholarly Journals aim to inform and report on original research or experimentation to the rest of the scholarly world. Scholarly articles are sometimes referred to as refereed or peer reviewed. Scholarly journals are usually published by academic organizations. Regenerative biology is a recent field of developmental biology attempting to recapitulate developmental processes to produce new tissue. This branch of science includes bio-medical approaches and clinical therapies exploring the development, and regeneration of cells with the restoration or enhancement of tissues. Regenerative medicine is an emerging field of medicine focused on repairing and replacing damaged cells and tissues through stem cell applications. This field holds the promise of engineering damaged tissues and organs via stimulating the body's own repair mechanisms to functionally heal previously irreparable tissues or organs. It includes bio-medical approaches to clinical therapies that may involve the use of stem cells by injection of stem cells or progenitor cells. Regenerative Medicine is an interdisciplinary field involving developmental biology, clinical research, tissue engineering, and stem cell biology. Stem cells play a major role in regenerative medicine, stem cell is a cell that has the ability to branch out and change, or differentiate, into two or more different cell types. Stem cells are self-renewing primitive cells that have the ability to develop into functional, differentiated cells. Journal of Regenerative Medicine is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal and aims to publish the most complete and reliable source of information on the topics include regenerative medicine therapies, stem cell applications and tissue regeneration.
