Hybrid Regenerative Biology Journals

Hybrid journals offer authors the choice of publishing via the traditional or customary method of access to articles via a subscription OR making individual articles freely available online i.e Open Access. Hybrid journals usually charge authors, their institutions or funders an additional fee for making an article open access. The open access article will appear in the subscription-based print and electronic versions as normal. Open access articles in hybrid journals should be marked as ‘open access’. Regenerative biology is a recent field of developmental biology attempting to recapitulate developmental processes to produce new tissue. This branch of science includes bio-medical approaches and clinical therapies exploring the development, and regeneration of cells with the restoration or enhancement of tissues. Regenerative medicine is an emerging field of medicine focused on repairing and replacing damaged cells and tissues through stem cell applications. This field holds the promise of engineering damaged tissues and organs via stimulating the body's own repair mechanisms to functionally heal previously irreparable tissues or organs. It includes bio-medical approaches to clinical therapies that may involve the use of stem cells by injection of stem cells or progenitor cells. Stem cells play a major role in regenerative medicine, stem cell is a cell that has the ability to branch out and change, or differentiate, into two or more different cell types. Stem cells are self-renewing primitive cells that have the ability to develop into functional, differentiated cells. Journal of Regenerative Medicine is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal and aims to publish the most complete and reliable source of information on the discoveries and current developments in the mode of original articles, review articles, case reports, short communications, etc. on the topics include regenerative medicine therapies, stem cell applications and tissue regeneration.
