Abstract
The project plans to set up a global network of digital medical center and digital doctors, on franchisee basis. All stake holders in healthcare sector shall be connected to a multilingual App.Front end of the App is IOS/Android for use through any mobile, mid portion is web based with integrated medical devices, video conferencing software, cloud based EMR (for storing patient information in the audio-visual-text and video format). Complete human (patient, doctors, and consultants) data, financial data shall be stored on cloud with privacy and security. The last portion of the App is ecommerce for collecting, splitting and disbursement of payments to all stake holders as per agreed parameters. Two kinds of facilities: Doctor visiting home or Patient visiting digital medical center, where patient can be examined/ investigated with the help of digital infrastructure and treatment started or can be provided consultations or admission to hospitals Benefits to the Patient • World class healthcare to anyone, anywhere, anytime at low cost. • Routine and specialized investigation instantly at low cost. • Shall connect remote patient to a global consultant / hospital instantly. Benefits to the Doctors • Self employment with better remuneration and continued medical education. Benefits to the Consultants • Shall increase the catchment area, increase productivity, reduce consultation cost, enhance quality of diagnosis and increase remuneration. Benefits to the Investigators • Digital instant, low cost investigation with better accuracy. Benefits to the Hospitals • Feeder system to provide indoor and outdoor patient to hospitals with increase revenue. Benefits to the Government • State of the art primary healthcare infrastructure at No or Low cost to the Government on franchisee basis.
Biography
Dr. Arvind Aggarwal completed his MBBS in 1975 from H.P. Medical Collage and Snowdon Hospital, Shimla, India at the age of 23 years. He had been a hectic global traveler. In 1995 he made the first presentation before a conference of about 200 It companies in India. At that time the world telemedicine was not coined. His project was futuristic and the technology did not exist for its implementation. In 1999 he was invited to speak a telemed’99 in London organized by The Royal Society of Medicine, London and ATSP-USA.
