Hindi Use of PEG-cholane as solubility enhancer – Novel colloidal formulation for Amphotericin B delivery

Abstract
PEG5kDa-cholane polymeric micelles were prepared for Amphotericin B delivery. The new formulation was characterized by DLS, RX, DSC, FTIR, circular dichroism, ITC and chromatography. The micelles were found to be stable after long term incubation and promptly re-dispersed after freeze-drying. In vitro efficacy studies showed that the formulation was active.
