Introduction: The recent years the modern medical science is developing rapidly. Therefore the requirements for the scholars and teachers, who works at the medical institution of the higher education have been increased every year throughout the world. Since there is a compulsory demand of the continuous learning and developing of own competence among higher educational employees. Yonsei University of Korea have been implement the Joint program on faculty development in Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences (MNUMS) last 25 years. This cooperation gave an opportunity to many faculties to enhance themselves professionally and to be a leader in their field. Methods and materials: In the non probabalistic collection method enrolled 40 faculties of the MNUMS, who was attended and graduated from training of professional development of the Yonsei University. The study design was done by the quantity and quality study. All information was collected by using special questionnaire. Results: Out of total participants 77.19 % responded that professional development training had a great impact on improvement of their teaching skills, whereas 19.3 % influenced well, and 3.51% as slightly, respectively. As teachers from the branch universities who participated in the study have a statistical significance (p=0.04) observed in responses from faculties of the MNUMS affiliated branch schools. The majority of the participants (43.86%) responded that the training greatly influenced their clinical skills and further practical services. Whereas 36.84% of respondent answered well influenced, 12.28 % moderely influenced, 3.51 % slightly influenced and 3.51% and reply as it did not influence at all (p<0.05). To the question on how the training influenced on their research background and skill, 3% responded as not influenced at all, 11% slightly influenced, 30% well influenced and 56% responded as greatly influenced, respectively. Participant’s faculty positions were shown no significant difference statistically. Conclusions: We observed that the external cooperation of university could influence on the faculty development of Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences.
