Vibroliposuction was introduced in 1998 as a new technology to facilitate the extraction of fat during liposuction with less trauma and tissue damage due to the mechanical aspiration and force used to move the cannula through the Adipose Tissue. Power Assisted Liposuction has become one of the most preferred technologies in the field of body contouring due to the easy curve of learning and execution specially in secondary liposuctions with excellent results and good outcomes with less bruising and postoperative edema. SAFELipo Technique was developed by American Plastic Surgeon Simeon Wall Jr. in 2008 and presented during the American Meeting, introducing new concepts about using the PAL Device, Separation of Fat, Aspiration and Fat Equalization have demonstrated efficacy when we are going to perform a primary and secondary Liposculpture with good outcomes and less risk of create irregularities, the work was completed with the introduction of the use of the PAL device to infiltrate tumescent solution previous to the Liposculpture and to perform the fat grafting in the buttocks The author has performed over 150 Liposculptures introducing this new way of using de PAL Device and conducted a study that analyze technical issues and benefits of this technique.

Marcelo Uriarte Mayorga is Plastic Surgeon located in La Paz, Bolivia, did his studies at Universidad Mayor De San Andres and Completed his training in Plastic Reconstructive Aesthetic Surgery in Guadalajara Mexico under Direction of Dr. Jose Guerrerosantos, he´s active member of Bolivian Society of Plastic Surgery, ISAPS, FILACP, International Member of ASPS and ASAPS and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, he has presented papers in Bolivia, France, Mexico, UAE. doctoruriarte@hotmail.com
