Abstract
Post-mastectomy breast reconstruction has been performed for early breast cancer patients at Ho Chi Minh City Oncology hospital since 2002. Breast reconstruction is following skin sparing mastectomy or nipple sparing mastectomy. The most common technique is extended LD flap, followed by TRAM flap. Direct-to-implant breast reconstruction has becoming more common recently and performing in one-stage. Techniques are dualplane submuscular, or dual-plane submuscular combined with abdominal dermal graft, or total sub-muscular technique. Reconstruction with expander is considered for delay breast reconstruction in case of lacking of skin and tissue and is performed in two stages.
