Abstract
Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a condition affecting women’s levels if hormones. Many women have PCOS but don’t know it. Women with PCOS produce higher amounts of male hormones that cause skipping menstrual periods and makes it difficult for them to become pregnant. In addition, PCOS causes hair growth on the face and body, and baldness. It can contribute to long-term health problems like diabetes and heart disease. Birth control pills and diabetes medications can help to treat the hormone imbalance and improve symptoms.
