Abstract

There is a widespread attention to exploring the literation between human biology and management studies. Organizational Cognitive Neuroscience (OCN) is in its emergence and diffusion phase, so, there are some debates and issues associated with OCN research. The purposes of this introduction are to outline the organizational cognitive neuroscience approach to leadership research and focus on both leadership and neurologically based researches. However, neuroscience theory is the ability to create theory and know how to use it, not just the knowledge of physical theories, so we referred to computer-based creative industries and the importance of the quality of their leaders’ decisions. Thus in this paper authors will define this new field and provide a right direction for future studies. The current results of OCN are investigated by the systematic review methodology covering the leadership cluster which leads to a major understanding of the human biology and greater decision-making in leadership. In other words, we provide an overview of how organizational cognitive neuroscience can be associated with leadership theory and practice then we developed the view that the further application of cognitive neuroscience techniques to leadership studies will influence on our understanding of effective leadership behaviors. Also, a number of challenges are addressed, including technical, measurement and methodological issues. Nevertheless, there is still much to be done in this field and more integration between these two fields is a necessity.
