Aim: Lack of attention to provide the appropriate environment for Alzheimer’s in Sudan, lack of awareness of Alzheimer and how to deal with it.

Objectives: Design healing environment to meet the specific needs of Alzheimer’s people the environment (physical, social) and design features of a care facility to support the functions of people with Alzheimer’s, accommodate behavioral changes, maximize abilities, promote safety and encourage independence. Awareness of Alzheimer disease and how to deal with people suffering from it. Respite care provides caregivers a temporary rest from caregiving, while the person with Alzheimer's continues to receive care in a safe environment. Using respite services can support and strengthen your ability to be a caregiver. Respite care facilities can be provided by Adult day centers and Residential facilities.

Design vision: Structuring a relief care place for Alzheimer’s patients is a test that must address need of the body and brain. Following are potential plan answers for a portion of these obstructions. Natural mediations that advance way finding can be actualized on two dimensions: The structure of the floor plan typology and ecological signals, which include signage, decorations, lighting, hues and outside space.

Conclusion: Decline in orientation limits a person’s ability to perform daily activities independently; therefore, it is a prime reason for institutionalization. For the creation of a supportive, dementia friendly environment, both aspects of architectural design must be considered. Design guidelines to support the way finding abilities of people with dementia were developed to synthesize both.
