Abstract

Investigations and feasibility studies on using agriculture wastes as a resource for producing energy and materials is regarded insufficient and unsatisfactory. Nonetheless, the utilization of the agriculture solid wastes is suggested a viable solution to reduce pollution and to bring economic benefits. Obtaining comprehensive data on chemical and physical structure and properties of agricultural waste is vital for evaluating their capability for specified application and also for finding proper treatment for enhancing their efficiency. This presentation focus on our research projects to develop green desiccant materials and green geopolymer as evaporative cooling materials from different agricultural and industrial wastes.
