Abstract
This paper is about the role of Nitric Oxide (NO) and its disequilibrium determined by the arisen of Myofascial Tension in Mental Illness Etiology. The paper analyzes the alterations of the neural configuration of some important neurotransmitters (Serotonin, Dopamine, Oxytocin, Dimethyltryptamine), which are known to be the basis of the arisen of psychiatric disorders, due to the presence of both physical and mental stresses and the consequential alteration of behavior in psychiatric patients.
