Bioinformatics & Computational Biology is a hybrid journal that offers an open access cum subscription based model. This journal encourages a cross section of researchers and scientific fraternity to widely publish their recent innovations as research articles, review articles, commentaries, conference proceedings, book reviews and letters to the editor.

The Journal is following double blind peer-review for quality in review process. This journal provide Editorial tracking system to submit manuscripts in which it consists of Editors and reviewers. Review processing is performed by Editorial board members or outside experts at least two independent reviewers approval followed by editor approval is required for acceptance of any citable manuscript.

Scope of Journal

Bioinformatics

Is the science of collection, classification, storage, and analysis of biochemical and biological information using computers especially as applied to molecular genetics and genomics.

Computational Biology

Computational Biology involves the development and application of data-analytical and theoretical method and for the development of algorithms or tools that would enable the solving of these problems.

Journal of Applied Bioinformatics & Computational Biology considers various aspects of the field for publication, including Bioinformatics, Databases, Bio Grid, System Biology, DNA tools, Drug Discovery, In Silico Technologies, Gene Expression, Microarray, Identification and Annotation, Algorithms and Programming, Homology, Protein Prediction & Determination, Medical Imaging, Computational Medical Diagnostics, Linkage mapping etc.

Artificial Intelligence

The ability of computers to perform operations similar to humans in an independent and decisive manner is called as Artificial Intelligence. Various complex operations are studies and performed using Artificial Intelligence.

Algorithms and Programming

Algorithms are a set of unambiguous instructions that, given some set of initial conditions, can be performed in a prescribed sequence to achieve a particular goal. Programming is the set of instructions given to perform a task.

Drug Discovery

Drug discovery tools work on the Software’s related to the study and analysis of drugs. Drug discovery tools required to analyze, study and perform research on drugs are called as Drug Discovery Tools.

Comparative Genomics

Comparative Genomics is a field of biological research in which the genomic elements of distinctive life forms are looked at. Comparative genomics elements may incorporate the DNA grouping, qualities, quality request, medical administrative arrangements, and other genomic structural landmarks.
