Abstract
Rupture of an Hourglass Shaped Aneurysm of the Thoracic Aorta: A Case Report
We present this unique Hourglass shaped aneurysm of the thoracic aorta that was presented as massive left hemothorax with the patient on hypovolemic-hemorragic shock after a localized rupture without signs of dissection. We present the physical and radiological findings as well as the treatment. The patient was operated on an emergency basis but this interesting shaped aneurysm proved fatal.
