Medical Informatics is the branch of Science. It is an amalgamation of medical science and information science and computer science, Medical Informatics is a rapidly developing scientific field that uses computers and information technology to gain, store, analyze, communicate and display medical information and knowledge. Worldwide use of computer technology in medicine began in the early 1950s with the rise of the computers. In 1949, Gustav Wagner established the first professional organization for informatics in Germany. Medical Informatics is multidisciplinary in nature it mainly deals with Clinical Informatics, Nursing Informatics , Bio Medical Informatics, Electronic Health record, Health Data Analytics, Tele Medicine, Tele Pathology, and Tele Surgery. Although considerable challenges remain, the impact of medical informatics will grow certainly. The imperatives of improving documentation, reducing error, and empowering patients will continue to motivate use of information technology in health care.

The Medical informatics 2020 is an event that aims to explore the ways to innovate in the field of Medical Informatics, and to find new possibilities of Medical informatics to empower Healthcare System at Zurich, Switzerland on July 27-28, 2020. The conference will serve as a platform to bring together leading Doctors with different specialties such as Telemedicine, Medical Informatics, Healthcare Informatics, Clinical Informatics, Public Health, Data management, etc. Medical Informatics conference will discuss on the topics such as Medical Informatics, Clinical informatics, Bio Medical Informatics, Nursing Informatics, Dental Informatics, Pharmacy Informatics, Electronic Health record, Health Data Analytics and Tele Surgery.

7th International Conference on Medical Informatics & Telemedicine, 2019 was inaugurated and followed by the key note sessions by Ahmad Baghal, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, USA with the title “Challenges in extracting and curating acute kidney injury data from institutional research enterprise Data Warehouse’ and Ahmed Makki, King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia with the title ‘‘Integrative medicine & integrated medical education’’. This session was Chair by José Eduardo Fernandes Tavora, Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil and Co-Chair by Hoda Dahroug Egypt ICT Trust Fund, Egypt and keynote session followed by speaker and poster presentations.

The GDP is projected to rise by 17.8% percent in 2019, 18.8 percent in 2020 and 19.8 percent in 2021. The Medical Informatics industry will be source of strength, with growth of 2.5 percent in 2019 and 3.0 percent in 2020. In fact, Medical informatics industry growth will exceed that of the US economy through 2024.
