Low back pain and its relationship to some psychosomatic variables for women of 40-50 years of age
Abstract
Background: Low back pain is a manifestation associated with many physical and psychological variables associated with exercise, especially for middle-aged women. This study aimed to identify the differences between the practices and non-practices of sports activity in the psychosomatic variables of 40-50 years and the correlational relationships between the psychosomatic variables and lower back pain
Methods: The two researchers used the descriptive approach , The research sample was chosen Their number is (175) of the practicing and non-practicing women in sports activities in clubs , The visual symmetry test was used to measure the degree of pain and a device (body composition monitor) to measure (total body weight - body weight - body weight - body fat percentage - body mass index (BMI))And the scale of stress of life events, which the two researchers prepared the scale with its axes (family stress - work - health - financial - psychological - emotional)
Results:There are differences in favor of sports activity practices in (weight - muscle weight - weight of body fat). - Body fat percentage - body mass index) in addition to the degree of pain and in the aspects of the stress scale of life events (family stress - work stress - health status pressures - psychological stress - psychological stress)
Conclusion:Paying attention to the practice of regular sports activities with specialized training programs for women in the age group 40-50years old, to contribute to facing the pressures of life events that pass through them.
