Abstract
The impact of the globalization has been observed on different segments of the Indian Textile Industry from conceiving the idea up to the delivery of world class textile products. The impact was multidimensional and affected the demand, types of fabrics, fashion apparels, development of hi-tech and eco- friendly clothing. The globalization also improved the economic condition of labors and employees of the Indian Textile Industry along with production automation of the industry in a manner that today it is ready to compete with the global textile industry.
