Abstract
Spontaneous spinal epidural hematoma (SSEH) is a rare hemorrhagic spinal pathology involving spontaneous blood in the epidural space that can compress the spinal cord or spinal nerve roots. SSEH has an atraumatic etiology and are extremely rare with a reported incidence of 0.1 per 100,000 or 0.3 to 0.9% of all spinal epidural space-occupying lesions.
