Medical Informatics is a scientific field that involves the study of social science, social behavior and health care. It deals with the topics like clinical informatics, computational health informatics etc. Study generates a large amount of experimental data which is organized and analyzed by using various bioinformatics tools. This results in collaboration between the biological researchers with bioinformatics experts. The applications of bioinformatics based genomics include nursing, clinical care, dentistry, pharmacy, public health, occupational therapy, physical therapy etc. Journal of Applied Bioinformatics & Computational Biology is a peer review, hybrid journal which finds wide scope under the journals in medical informatics. It accepts submissions as research, review, case report or commentaries on the related topics under the hybrid model.
