Marine Zoology Journals
Marine zoology is the study of animals that live in ocean or marine water bodies. The term is generally used interchangeably with marine biology but the differences is that Marine Biology is the study of all kinds of marine organisms ranging from plants to protozoa whereas marine zoology is specified to the study of only marine animals. Marine zoology involves the study of biology of animals and their behavior. Studying animal behavior in wild is known as marine ethology which requires time at sea and close observation of animal's natural habitat. Most often, the marine animals are studied under captivity in labs. The study of Marine zoology is important to seek the possible ways for protecting and saving endangered species and those species whose habitat are threatened by human or natural phenomena.
