Marine Biology research
"Marine biology is the branch of science that involves the study of marine organisms, their behaviors, and their interactions with the environment. Because the marine ecosystem is very large there are many sub-fields of marine biology and because of the wide scope of the field there are many specializations that can be preferred by the researchers. The important specializations of Marine Biology includes Marine biotechnology, Aquaculture, Marine molecular biology, Marine ecology, Marine environmental biology, Aquatic toxicology, Marine microbiology and the study of marine mammals like their bioacoustics and vocalization, and population dynamics.
Journal of Marine Biology & Oceanography is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal that publishes the most complete and reliable source of information on the discoveries and current developments in all areas pertaining to marine biology and oceanography. Journal of Marine Biology & Oceanography publishes results of research on marine biology, biological/physical/chemical/ geological oceanography, and other relevantly related areas.
The Journal uses Editorial Manager System for maintaining quality review process. Editorial Manager is an online manuscript submission, review and tracking system. Review process is performed by the editorial board members of Journal of Marine Biology & Oceanography; the validation by at least two independent reviewers followed by the editor’s approval is required for the acceptance of any citable manuscript for publication in the Journal.
