Hybrid Journals on Marine Biology

Marine biology is the branch of science that involves the study of marine organisms, their behaviors, and their interactions with the environment. Because the marine ecosystem is very large there are many sub-fields of marine biology and because of the wide scope of the field there are many specializations that can be preferred by the researchers. The important specializations of Marine Biology includes Marine biotechnology, Aquaculture, Marine molecular biology, Marine ecology, Marine environmental biology, Aquatic toxicology, Marine microbiology and the study of marine mammals like their bioacoustics and vocalization (the study of marine mammal sounds), and population dynamics (studying marine mammalian behaviors and responses to environmental conditions as they impact population). Journal of Marine Biology & Oceanography is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal that aims to publish the most complete and reliable source of information on the discoveries and current developments in all areas pertaining to Marine Biology and Oceanography. The Journal follows Hybrid policy of publication. Hybrid policy offer authors the choice of publishing their work via customary method of access to articles via subscription OR open access (making individual articles freely available online) with a fee applicable to the authors, their institutions or funders. The Hybrid Model, hence, presents the authors with two options: to pay a publication charge (open option) OR not to pay the publication charge (subscription).
