Liver Disorders Journals
The liver is the largest internal organ in the body. Because the liver comes in close contact with many harmful substances, it is protected against disease in two main ways. First, it can regenerate itself by repairing or replacing injured tissue. Second, the liver has many cell units responsible for the same task. Therefore, if one area is injured, other cells will perform the functions of the injured section indefinitely or until the damage has been repaired. Different types of liver disorders include hepatitis, cirrhosis, liver tumors, and liver abscess, etc major would be the two most common forms such as hepatitis and cirrhosis. There are over 100 different forms of liver disease that affect men, women and children. The most common cause of liver disease is non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. Cirrhosis is the end-result of many liver conditions and involves severe scarring of the liver. It is associated with a progressive decline in liver function resulting in liver failure. Alcohol abuse is one leading cause of liver disease. Infections, poisons, and inherited (genetic) conditions can also cause diseases of the liver. In most patients with liver disease, multiple different functions of the liver are impaired. Journal of Liver: Disease & Transplantation (JLDT) focuses on the topics hepatitis, cirrhosis, liver cancer, alcohol damage, fatty liver, metabolic and genetic liver diseases, autoimmune liver diseases, liver transplantation and techniques, surgical complications and transplantation outcomes. The Journal of Liver: Disease & Transplantation addresses both the liver pathology and liver transplantation. JLDT stands among the liver journals in the globe. The Journal is using quality and standard peer review process for its paper publications. It is also using online manuscript submission and manuscript tracking system.
