Special Issue Introduction

International Journal of Mental Health and Psychiatry (IJMHP) is delighted to announce its first Special Issue- “Immigration and Mental Health”.

This Special Issue aims at understanding and showcasing the global waves of immigration and its impact on mental health of children, couples, families, communities, and countries. Because of current immigration policies and the political rhetoric on immigration, mental health professionals need to understand the varied socio-political and mental health problems impacting the immigrant population.

With this Special Issue, International Journal of Mental Health and Psychiatry is focusing on providing a concise, peer reviewed current knowledge and future directions on key aspects of immigration and mental health, through rigorous empirical and theoretical research studies, and manuscripts on topics that are relevant to the mission of advancing the IJMHP.
