Larynx Cancer
Larynx cancer is also known as Laryngeal cancer or laryngeal carcinoma. Usually the Larynx cancers are squamous cell carcinomas because the major part of laryngeal epithelium is made of squamous cells. Most laryngeal cancers originate in the glottis. Supraglottic cancers are less common, and subglottic tumours are least frequent. Smoking is the most important risk factor for larynx cancer. Symptoms of larynx cancer include: A hoarse voice or other voice, a sore throat or trouble swallowing, a lump in the neck, Trouble breathing etc.
