Genital Disorders

Genital disorders are nothing but an abnormal condition which affects the genital system. Both male and female genital system can get affected with disorders. As genital disorders affecting the reproductive system they can be called as reproductive disorders. Viral, bacterial, fungal, structural, functional or other infections will be the source of these genital disorders. Primary sex organs in the genital system affected in case of female genital disorders are uterus and vagina. Some examples of female genital disorders include cancer, Chlamydia, herpes and candidiasis. Vaginal discharge, pelvic pain, genital pain, vaginal bleeding, vaginal itching can be considered as the symptoms of female genital disorders. The main symptom among these is vaginal discharge which refers to secretions from vagina. Some severe female genital disorders can cause death in times of misdiagnosis and undiagnosed conditions. Male genital system too will face with the genital disorder where the primary sex organs that get affected in these cases will be penis and testicles which are external reproductive organs. Male genital disorders have the subcategories such as congenital disorders, penis disorders, prostate disorders, testicle disorders, epididymis disorders, male genital neoplasia. Some male genital disorders will also affect genital skin where inflammation at the tip of the penis occurs which is called as balanitis. Priapism, peyronie's disease , phimosis, paraphimosis, and penile cancer are some other disorders that affect penis.
