Abstract
Forgotten Baby: Lithopaedion in a 50 Year Old Lady - A Case Report
Lithopaedion is a rare event and represents great negligence. Lithopaedion means when abdominal pregnancy persists and fetus gets calcified with time, patients presents with abdominal lump and pain later on. Lithopaedion can create confusion in concluding the diagnosis. Here we report a case of 50 years old patient complaining of abdominal pain and lump in lower abdomen which later, after full diagnostic work up was diagnosed as Lithopaedion; the forgotten fetus.
