Abstract
Effect of Short-Term of Nutrition Rehabilitation on Catch-up Growth in Marasmus and Kwashiorkor Children
About 149 million children under 5 years of age in developing countries are undernourished. The goal in nutrition rehabilitation of these children is the restoration of body weight to the normal range by a rapid catch-up growth. The present study aims to compare the effects of short-term phase of nutrition rehabilitation (21 days) in marasmus and kwashiorkor children, on catch-up growth.
