Biography
Dr. Yinsheng Zhang is currently a full professor at Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Dr. Zhang earned his PhD from Lanzhou Institute of Glaciology and Geocryology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China and his post PhD was from Institute of Low Temperature Science of Hokkaido University, Japan. Dr. Zhang has been earlier experienced as a Research Scientist at Institute of Observational Research for Global Change (IORGC), Japan and Institute of Low Temperature Science of Hokkaido University, Japan. He is also been involved as Associate Professor at Institute for Hydrospheric-Atmospheric Sciences of Nagoya University, Japan and Lanzhou Institute of Glaciology and Geocryology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Dr. Zhang’s research involves with Land surface hydrological processes: The response of land-surface hydrological processes to global change and its feed back to the climatic system, which may reflected in variation of evaportranspiration, soil moisture and discharge process. Current attentions are focus in the region of Eurasia cryosphere.
