Dr Wijeratne has completed his MD from University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. He functioned as a lecturer in the Department of Pharmacology University of Colombo Sri Lanka from 2007-2008. Dr Wijeratne completed his MSC in Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Toronto in 2010. He was also a post Doctoral fellow at the Womens College Research Intitute, University of Torotno from 2009-10. Dr Wijeratne was awarded the Dr Claire Bombardier Award award for the best MSc student in the Department of Health Policy Management and Evaluation at University of Torotno in 2010. He is currently completing his residency in Internal Medicine at Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada. Dr Wijeratnes work on gastroparesis is registered as a Cochrane title.
