Biography
Theodoros P. Vassilakopoulos is currently an Assistant Professor at National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in Department of Haematology. As a Lecturer and Assistant Professor Theodoros P. Vassilakopoulos involved in the training of Hematology Fellows through everyday clinical practice, lectures and courses. Throughout the course of his medical career the focus of his interest was clinical work, in order to provide health services to patients according to the respective positions I held. Theodoros P. Vassilakopoulos has been responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of a significant number of in- and outpatients with a wide variety of hematologic diseases. Furthermore, he was a resident in Internal Medicine for approximately 9 months in the First Department of Internal Medicine. During this period Theodoros P. Vassilakopoulos involved with patients with common medical conditions, but also with patients with hematologic malignancies and solid tumors, since it was a referral Center of the Greek Army for oncologic-hematologic cases. Theodoros P. Vassilakopoulos measurable research work includes 107 publications in peer-reviewed SCI-cited journals, with a total impact factor of 410.261.
Research Interest
Theodoros P. Vassilakopoulos research interests inculde Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, malignant lymphoproliferative disorders, particularly Hodgkin lymphoma and aggressive non-Hodgkin lymphomas.
