Dr Stoyko Fakirov teaches in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Auckland. His current research focuses on the Structure-properties relationships in polymers and composite materials, polymer material science, single polymer composites, converting of bulk polymers into nano-sized materials with controlled nanomorphology. Dr. Stoyko Fakirov has published 350 papers in international polymer journals, 15 Edited books on polymers,36 Bulgarian Authorship Certificates (Bulgarian Patents),9 US Patents and1 NZ Patent Application .
