Dr. Savvas Vassiliadis holds a Diploma degree in Textiles, BSc in Electronics, Dipl. Engineer degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and PhD in Computational Modelling. After a long carrier in the textile and electronics industry he joined the Department of Electronics Engineering of the Technological Education Institute of Piraeus, Greece. Dr. Savvas Vassiliadis is author of more than 100 scientific articles published in national and international journals and presented in international conferences. He has published seven books and he has participated in more than 30 national and international research and technological projects. He is member of scientific committees of many international conferences and journals. He is academic consultant in the National Academic Recognition and Information Center (NARIC) of Greece and member of the Technical Chamber of Greece. Since 2012 Prof. Vassiliadis is the Head of the Department of Electronics Engineering and member of the Administration Council of TEI Piraeus.
