Dr. Sandeep K. Vashist is the Discovery and R&D Processes Manager at Immunodiagnostics Systems GmbH, Germany. He worked as the Bioanalytical Scientist at Bristol-Myers Squibb Ireland; Team Leader at Diabetes Research, NUS, Singapore; Head of Immunodiagnostics at Hahn-Schickard, Germany; Senior Scientist at Klinikum rechts der isar der TUM, Germany; Chief Scientific Officer at Vallo Med Health Care GmbH, Germany; and Founder & Director at Vallo Med Smart Health Solutions, Germany. His research outputs include many successful technology transfers; several in vitro diagnostic and POC technologies; over 250 high impact factor journal publications, book chapters, and conference manuscripts. He has written two books (CRC Press and Elsevier) and is the main inventor for several patents. He has been constantly rewarded for scientific research excellence and innovation. Further, he is the invited Editor for many reputed journals; an expert/reviewer/advisor for several international funding agencies; and, a Technology consultant to several companies in IVD and POC technologies. His research interests include immunoassays, IVD, POC technologies, bioanalytical sciences, nanotechnology, and mobile healthcare.
