Biography
Dr. Renata Martinec is an Associate Professor in the department of Motoric Disorders, Chronic Diseases and Art Therapies at University of Zagreb. She received her doctorate in Health Education and Rehabilitation Sciences from the University of Zagreb. She received a Master of Science degree in Health Education and Rehabilitation Sciences from the University of Zagreb, and a Bachelor degree in Movement Health Education and Rehabilitation Sciences from the University of Zagreb. Her primary teaching responsibilities include Complementary Therapies, Creative Therapy, Psychosomatics and Methods of Clinical Evaluation. Dr.Martinec specific area of scientific interest is focused on motoric disorders and chronic diseases, art-expressive therapies, application of movement and dance in therapy and Sophrology. She is a member of the Croatian Association for Psychosocial Oncology. She is leading the study programme of Rehabilitation at the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences of the University of Zagreb.
