Dr. Rao Gollapudi has been retired from the University of Kansas in 2012. Before that he worked as a researcher and faculty member in the medicinal chemistry department of KU (1980-1991) and as research scientist at KU (2010-2012) and as technical adviser to Oread Laboratories founded by (Late) Professor Takara Higuchi. Furthermore, he worked as director at Geneva Laboratories, Inc. Wisconsin, Manager in ABC Laboratories, Inc. Columbia, MO, Systems Administrator in PPD and Vice-President of Research and Development of Dynarx Technology, Inc., Lawrence. Dr. Gollapudi is experienced in chemotherapy, cell biology, drug discovery and synthesis & natural products chemistry.Dr. Gollapudi has published about 40 research papers and reviews including some chapters for books. He has reviewed several research papers for scientific journals. He has coauthored several publications with Professor (Late) Lester A. Mitscher and Professor Noboru Motohashi who are his collaborators and good friends. Now, he is actively involved in research collaborating with Professor Motohashi. Furthermore, he is serving in the editorial Board for six journals.
