Biography
Dr Peng Cao is an associate professor and deputy head of the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering, at the University of Auckland. He received his Bachelor of Engineering, Master of Engineering and PhD degrees from Xi’an Jiao Tong University (China), Shanghai Jiao Tong University (China) and University of Queensland (Australia) respectively. Prof. Cao has led a number of important research projects in New Zealand, dealing with titanium powder metallurgy in general and metal injection moulding in particular, and silicon anode materials for lithium ion batteries. He has published ~110 peer refereed articles.
