Dr. Alexander teaches in the M.B.A. program and serves as Curriculum Coordinator, Corporate Social Responsibility.
Dr. Becker Alexander teaches in the M.B.A. program, as well as the undergraduate business program, where she serves as Curriculum Coordinator, Corporate Social Responsibility. Dr. Becker Alexander is an expert in affirmative action. She worked with counsel in New Jersey's major reverse discrimination case, publishing "Affirmative Action and Reverse Discrimination: DoesTaxman v. Board of Education of Piscataway Township Define the Outer Limits of Lawful Race-Conscious Voluntary Affirmative Action?" in The Seton Hall Journal of Constitutional Law. Dr. Becker Alexander serves as the Secretary of the Sidney Reitman Employment Law American Inn of Court, the only employment law Inn of Court in the United States. Most recently, she published "The Ethical Challenges for Enterprise and Risks to Consumers of Large Market Share through Low Cost Supplier Strategy" in the International Journal of Business Ethics, and she is counseling M.B.A. service projects oriented to micro-lending. Dr. Becker Alexander's current research, which is predominantly discipline based, relates to executive compensation, firm financial performance and socially responsible management practices.
