Dr. Nicola Ferrara is a Professor of Internal Medicine and Geriatrics at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Molise. He is a Director of the School of Specialization in Geriatrics University of Naples. He is also an Associate Professor of Gerontology and Geriatrics at the Second University of Studies of Naples. From October 01, 1999 to October 31, 2003, he also held his own teaching activity at the following specialization schools: Geriatrics (director Prof. G. Paolisso) with the teaching in the Epidemiology of Aging, for the AA 2000/01 and in Biogerontology for AA 2001/02 and 2002/03; Cardiology (director Prof. R. Calabrò) withThe teaching in Geriatrics and Gerontology for AA 2001/02, 2002/03, 2003/04;Radiotherapy (director Prof. E. Del Vecchio) with Teaching in Internal Medicine for theAA 2000/01, 2001/02, 2002/03. He has been a member of the College of PhD students of Geriatric Physiopathology (Coordinator: Prof. G. Paolisso) of the Second University of Naples in AA 2002/03. He is a Referee of the Ministry of Health for the Continuing Education Program in Medicine.
