Dr. Foster is the Director of Supercritical Fluids Research & Dense Gas Technologies Programme and also Director of Process Intensification & Sustainability Programme. In 1999, he was awarded with "The John Brodie Medal". In 2006 he obtained "Royal Australian Chemical Institute Applied Research Award" & in 2009 "The RACI R K Murphy Medal". At 2010-2012 he was awarded with People's Republic of China "Qian Ren 1000 Talents" Programme Professorship.
