Dr. Natalia Vinas received her BS in Biology from Universitat de Girona (Girona, Spain), and her MS in Biology from Universitat de Barcelona (Barcelona, Spain). She also did her PhD in Spain (CSIC, Barcelona, Spain), studying the presence of POPs and their endocrine-disrupting activity in European high mountain lakes. After that, she did a postdoc at the University of Florida (Gainesville, FL, USA).

Dr. Natalia Vinas research focused on the effects of endocrine disruptors on several fish species. I then joined Jackson State University (Jackson, MS), as an assistant research professor. Finally, in 2011 I joined IGBB, where I continue my work in predictive ecotoxicology.
