Dr. Jesmine Khan is a medical doctor who received her MBBS degree from Mymensingh Medical College, Dhaka University, Bangladesh. She received her PhD degree from Osaka University Graduate school of Medicine, Japan. Currently, she is working as an Associate Professor in Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia. She is active in writing and has published peer-reviewed articles in reputed journals. She presented her work in various national and international scientific meetings. She serves as reviewer for journals and editor of books. She is editorial board member for few journals.

Dr. Khan is interested in nutrition related research. Her research focus is on the effect of nutrition especially high fat diet and obesity on different components of the gastrointestinal barrier. She is also interested in the modulation of different health related issues by nutrients.
