Jeff A. Lehmen, M.D. was born and raised in Jefferson City, MO and graduated from Helias High School. His undergraduate degree in Medicinal Chemistry was awarded Summa Cum Laude from the University of Missouri and he received the Top Undergraduate Bachelor of Science Award as well. Dr. Lehmen received his M.D. degree from the University of Missouri and achieved his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics. Dr. Lehmen has completed a neurosurgical and orthopaedic Spine Surgery Fellowship at Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts. He has gained additional training in minimally invasive spine surgery techniques with the internationally renowned Neurosurgeon, Luiz Pimenta, M.D., in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Dr. Lehmen is dedicated to research and has presented at meetings in North America and Europe representing both Harvard and Spine Midwest.
