Dr. Jean J. Latimer currently is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Nova Southeastern University, USA. Dr. Jean J. Latimer completed his PhD in Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology at University of New York at Buffalo, NY. Dr. Jean J. Latimer completed his Postdoctoral Fellowship in Laboratory of Radiobiology and Environmental Health at University of California, San Francisco, USA.
Research Interest
Dr. Jean Latimer research involves human breast cancer etiology. She is exploring the loss of DNA repair mechanisms in early stage breast cancer as a source of genomic instability. In addition Dr. Jean Latimer is interested in the unique vulnerability of human breast tissue for DNA damage which originates from environmental causes.
