Huseyin Kadoglu was born in Izmir, Turkey in 1961. He studied textile technology between 1979 - 1983 at Ege University Textile Engineering Department in Izmir.  After having Ph.D. in 1993 he became an assistant professor in same year, in 1995 Associate Professor and in 2001 Full Professor. He is the representative of Ege University in AUTEX. He is currently The Head of Textile Engineering Department at Ege University. He is the Secretary General of The Council of Textile Engineering Departments in Turkey since June 2014.  He published more than 140 scientific articles in various magazines and conferences. He  participated in more than 30 research projects funded by national and international sources. He took part in  scientific  boards of many international conferences. He is a board member of The Research & Consulting Committee of Turkish National Cotton Council. He is also a member of  Türkisch-Deutscher Kulturbeirat Izmir.
